A native from Lima, Peru; I came to the United States in 2003 to learn the culture of this beautiful country. In 2004, I met my future husband; and one year later, I settled in Shawano, Wisconsin, his home town. I love to travel, to cook healthy meals, to make my house comfy, to do yoga, to swim and kayak, to spend time with my husband, and to work with children.

For the last ten years, I have been working with young children in different settings; in private homes, in child care centers, and, the latest, in the Head Start program. My job is demanding but exciting. The challenge never ends, but the adventures and new discoveries are always there.
